Mega Bootcamp
Summer Series
In May of 2020, Minneapolis found itself in a limited state of lockdown due to the COVID pandemic – closing bars, restaurants, cultural centers and gyms. In addition to the lockdown, the city also was mourning the tragic death of George Floyd.
Our community needed an outlet for expression, connection and overall health and wellness. It was from this context that MDM partnered with fitness expert Antonio Tate (aka MegaMan) to develop the Mega Bootcamp Summer Series. MegaMan focused on the physical movements and fitness program, while MDM curated the environment, experience and overall production. Over a year later, Mega is still providing group fitness camps at various locations throughout the city.
